Girls Lacrosse Camp

Join Infantry this summer, August 5-8, for local instruction that focuses on individualized skill development and improved lacrosse IQ.

Led by College Coaches, Players & Infantry Staff

This is a great opportunity to learn from experienced women’s lacrosse players in a fun, engaging setting to improve your player’s stickwork and overall play. Girls will be split up by grade and differentiated instruction will be provided by camp counselors to incorporate age-appropriate lacrosse play.

Camp Registration

Join us this summer for a week of exceptional training by our Infantry Lacrosse Staff. Our coaches include current Division I, II, and III players, along with former and current college coaches. At Infantry our focus is developing well-rounded players in a fun, engaging atmosphere. Our camp curriculum will combine strength and agility training with lacrosse concepts to provide engaging instruction to our campers. Our daily schedule will include:

• Morning Warmup and PT with a Speed, Strength, and Conditioning Trainer. 
• Stations: Agility Obstacle Course, Daily Shooting Range, Skill Stations, Age-specific scrimmages. 
• Lacrosse Skillwork: catching, throwing, dodging, shooting, defensive footwork, and draws. 
• Lacrosse IQ: spatial awareness, dodging under pressure, and progressive drills from 1v1 to 5v5.

Itinerary

  • 8:45-9am: Camp Check-in

  • 9am-11am: Session 1 of individual and group instruction. Emphasis on stickwork and individual skillwork.

  • 11-11:20: Snack break and hydration station for players.

  • 11:30-1pm: Session 2 group play and scrimmaging. Players incorporate stickwork and individual skillwork from session 1 into their group work and scrimmaging in session 2.

  • 1pm: Player Pickup

Your Camp Director

McKenzie Gaghan

Coach Gaghan is a Long Island native who grew up playing in the hotbed Farmingdale lacrosse community. She played four years of varsity lacrosse for Farmingdale High School and played club for the Long Island Yellow Jackets under current team USA Player Kylie Ohlmiller and Coach Vinnie Alterbando. She was a captain her senior year of high school and helped lead her team to a Nassau County Championship. Coach Gaghan played four seasons of lacrosse at East Stroudsburg University. As a starting goalie at ESU, Gaghan was a Two-time IWLCA National Defensive Player of the Week, played in 31 games in goal totaling 1,050:54 minutes of action, tallied 128 saves with a .494 save percentage, and had 27 career ground balls.

During her final season at ESU, she led her team to the 2022 National Championship game against UIndy where she had a career high of 14 saves. She capped the year with 968:57 minutes with 119 saves in 2022 and was named in the USA Lacrosse Magazine DII Honorable Mention All-American. In 2023 and 2024, Coach Gaghan played as a graduate student at Florida Southern.

Camp Instructors

Colleen played four years of varsity lacrosse at New Fairfield High School. She earned South West All Conference team honors, was two time First Team All-State member, and also received All Academic honors. She led the New Fairfield Varsity program to three Class S State Championships and served as a captain her senior year. Colleen currently attends Manhattan College and plays midfield for the Jaspers. 

Colleen Rattigan

Reagan played four years of lacrosse at New Fairfield High School. She earned all conference honors her freshman through senior year. She was a US Lacrosse All American & US Lacrosse Academic All American in 2021. She led her team to the CT Class S State Title, and was named the Championship Game MVP. She was also an All-State and All-League selection in Field hockey at New Fairfield High School. Reagan played lacrosse at Army West Point and Siena College. 

Reagan Tenaglia

Kelly played four years of lacrosse at New Fairfield High School. She was named all-league and all-state team during her Junior and Senior season. She helped lead the team to a 45-6 record in three seasons along with three Class S State Championships. Kelly currently attends Bryant University where she is a starting defender. As a freshman she was named to the America East All-Rookie team.

Kelly Ford

Madelyn played three years of lacrosse at New Fairfield High School. She earned all conference and all state honors as a three year starting defender. She helped her team compete in three state championships and win two Class S State Championships during her time at New Fairfield. She currently attends Sacred Heart University where she plays defense for the Pioneers.
